I keep my expectations pretty low for generic and non-name brand outdoor gear, but this backpack easily exceeded them. It is pretty tough feeling for a lightweight backpack, with textured cross hatching on the nylon material, straps properly secured to the internal structure (not just directly sewed to the fabric), zippers that are lightweight but partially sealed and smooth, and strap length buckles that don't easily slip on their own.The bag cleverly reverses and folds into it's own rear outer compartment (you would never know just looking at the bag), has three zipper compartments, several pockets in the main compartment, two drink holders, and two buckle straps to attach extra gear. It looks and feels a step above a generic foldable bag.This a smallish pack and on a large adult male it looks very small, but it is still designed to fit. I have a 50 inch chest and it easily and comfortably fits. It isn't designed to be overloaded. By definition, it doesn't have any kind of rigid internal structure, so heavy loads won't feel great.Negatives? The fabric is noisy. There is no sweat pad against your back so you will get sweaty. Don't expect water resistance for more than a quick rain shower. But those are stretch goals for a lightweight foldaway pack.

Great idea. Takes about 20 seconds to fold it up into the travel size. Easy to take in your luggage for hiking on your trip.

This is a super lightweight pack. Collapsible into a small pouch. For day hiking or short backpacking this might be your pack. I would say that it isn't very durable due to it's extremely lightweight but that is part of it (the extreme light weight). For those situations where weight is an issue, this is a good choice. The zippers seem pretty good and overall construction is pretty good.

This is a nice, lightweight backpack that I think fits right in the middle of something really small (like a 15L) and the beginning of the serious backpacks that seem to weigh a half pound by themselves. This is made from a thin (I think nylon) material that keeps it light...but, also means it isn't a heavy duty backpack made to be stuffed with books or heavy items (although it might hold up to it, I wouldn't try and use it for that purpose). Of course if you need a backpack like this, you are looking at the wrong item.We got this for the wife when we go riding on our eBikes for the day and want to carry along some lunch, water and our cell phones (for two). Definitely too large if you were just using it for yourself (since then you could probably get away with a 15L size). But great for two people (or I guess for 1 that wants to carry more than just lunch and water). You could use this for a day hike...but not for anything serious (of course I would hope you would know that just by looking at it).The purple color is just what the wife likes. The shoulder straps have padding and it has a chest strap to help keep it in place. The material I think is water resistant since water seems to bead off of it. I didn't test if it was waterproof (don't plan on using it in the rain so water resistant is fine with us). The rear pocket serves as the backpacks storage by inverting the backpack into it (as can be seen in the pic). This is great since you don't have to worry about an extra storage bag to lose (or pay more for) and it's always there.This is a nice backpack well suited for it's intended use...I just think $29.99 (price at time of review) is a tad high when considering this IS a lightweight backpack and I've seen more heavy duty ones sell for the same amount. I'm also not saying this is overpriced since I think you'll still be happy with it. Just would've been a full 5 stars had it been closer to $24.99 instead.

Great quality. Made well. Will fold back down into the front pocket. Easy to wear, seems washable. Many pockets and perfect size for a day hike. I am very pleased with this. I have no complaints and it is perfect for those day hikes. It will easily hold several bottles of water, snacks and a small first aid kit. Love the vibrant color.

I needed a backpack to be for light daytrips after flight travel. This one fits the need. The packcaple option is great for travel, weight is great for travel. It is big enough for daytrips, not for hiking. Feels well-made, the material is sturdy, not flimsy. Enough compartments. Zippers are plastic but I think that it is because of chassing weight target. Again, it is a light backpack, not for heavy stuff.

This hiking foldable daypack is very lightweight and packable, which is great for hiking with. The 25L capacity has plenty of space for essentials while remaining comfortable and easy to carry. The waterproof material holds up well in the rain and the foldable design is very convenient for travel or packing as a backup bag. It feels very durable and well made.

I low key collect these packable backpacks because they are just so useful as kids' backpacks when going out. They're cheap enough that when the kids break them, it's not a big deal.Compared to the other ones I used, this has sturdier fabric, but not too sturdy that it adds to the weight significantly. The backpack has 2 front pockets, 2 large interior pockets, 2 interior mesh pockets, and it has 2 cinches on the outside above the water bottle pockets. I think that's the most features I've seen in an ultralight backpack. One of the large pockets on the inside is big enough to fit a 10 inch tablet.This is a good pick and I would recommend this.

Definitely a very small bag! Suitable as a day bag.Absolutely love how it can folded into itself and zipped closed.. it's easier to do than shown in the video, basically just start stuffing it into the bottom pocket until it's all in and zip it shut lol.The bag weighs virtually nothing, easily tossed in a different backpack or back of a seat in your car etc. Depending on your clothes could even be stuffed in a pocket!Reasonably water proof.It may be "scratch resistant" but this is still very thin and won't handle a large amount of weight without tearing itself apart, so lighter weight items are definitely recommended.

I’ve been using this backpack for a while now, and it’s honestly been great. It’s super lightweight, which I love because I hate feeling weighed down when I’m out and about. Despite that, it still feels sturdy and well-made.It holds everything I need without being bulky, and the pockets are in all the right places. I also appreciate how comfortable it is—the straps don’t dig in, and the padding makes a difference on longer hikes. Plus, it folds down small, so it’s easy to pack when I’m not using it.Overall, it’s been a solid companion for hikes and trips. It just works, and I don’t have to think about it too much—which, to me, is the best kind of gear.
