I think I will like this as a travel bag AFTER I figure out how to get all the wrinkles out of it. The tag for care instructions wasn't clear but ironing and drying it in the dryer are not accepted.Perhaps when I stuff it full of my normal purse items, it will fill out and lay against my body correctly. Until then I still give it a 4-star review.

Got this for a recent trip and it’s now my everyday!

This bag has zippered compartments so you can organize you items in groups. It can hold a water bottle, sunglasses, phone, firstaid essentials, rain pancho, and so much more, but the best part it's unique U shape how it lies on your hip and distributes the weight so it does not feel heavy. Cleans easily with just a damp rag.

I've been a fan of the Sash bag from the get go ever since they started as a kick starter. I've purchased several at a high price because I love the concept. Eventually, I would have to replace them because either all the zippers would fail or the material would ware down and start to peal due to everyday use. My true complaint though was that it was just a tad too small and narrow for me.

When it came time to replace my latest one, I found this bag. And I sure am glad I did! I ordered it based on the reviews, price and my curiosity got the better of me. After it's arrival, I did a thorough inspection and wasn't sold right off the bat, thinking it was too big and bulky. I actually kept the tag on for a few days just in case I needed to return it. But after wearing it around town, I couldn't believe the difference. It's amazing how much stuff I can carry in it. I can actually carry a little wallet for my coins again. Also the added bonus is that I could easily remove everything and turn it into a packable item and throw into my luggage if want to use a fanny pack instead during my travels. It feels comfortable wearing it too.

It was a little bit too long for me (I'm 5'4") though but then I figured out that I could adjust it over the strap without compromising the look to make it hang exactly the length I needed. The material held up well during the rain. And it's light weight and stitched very well. It seems like it's going to hold up well.

The only thing I wish for is that the company would produce more in different colors. I feel like it'll be a while before I have to replace this one. So I'm hoping by then there will be more options.

I wish I could have stayed loyal to the Sash Bag, but there's too many improvements that need to happen before I consider repurchasing another one. Other wise, this one has made just as happy!

I will say, that it does take some time getting used to the concept of this bag because things could easily get lost at the bottom due to wide pockets. And I will admit that sometimes I struggle to find what I need immediately. With that being said, my chiropractor loved that I switched over to this style of bag versus a traditional purse. It has really helped with the pressure on my shoulders.

Lightweight. Evenly distributes stashed items. Not highly fashionable, but very functional. If you want the higher priced name brand but not the price tag and fashion is not your priority , I recommend!

I like the distribution of weight that the bag offers, this was one of the main details I am looking for due to shoulder issues. A different version of a sling bag, a neater set up than a dump purse.
The strap needs to have more adjustability, I am 5'5" so it hits too low on the hip. If the strap could be adjusted within another 2" of height that would be perfect. The padded strap would still be long enough, I will attempt to figure out how I can adjust the strap to fit me better. Given the normal height of a woman is under 5'5" this may be a consideration for the future design. Do not make the compartments smaller, they are a good size. Would consider different colors. Like the fabric!

I have back issues this allows me to care what I need and not get back pain. There are plenty of pockets and zipper pockets for wallet, phone, keys, tissues, inhaler, plus much more when necessary and never feel like you're carrying anything. Plus I can keep it on while sitting at a table or even in public restrooms so no more setting a purse on a yucky floor. Or forgetting to pick it up. I love this so much

Zippered compartments have small openings. Everytime you bend over it ends up hanging from your neck.
