After WATERFLY launched new Waterproof Backpack Series, many audiences come to ask, What does IPX6 mean? What does an IPX6 waterproof backpack mean? And how can you ensure it 100% waterproof?
IP code, in Liquid ingress protection language, indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against harmful ingress of water.
And IPX6 rating describes that Water projected in powerful jets (12.5 mm nozzle) against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. That is to say, any IPX6 rated product can get wet however no harm, whether it’s a light spray, a high-pressure nozzle or exposure to the rain.
After marketing research and many tests, we find many waterproof backpacks use normal cuben fiber waterproof material and with 70%~90% of seams sealed, which can't guarantee 100% waterproof.
However, our Waterproof Backpack Series all use IPX6 Rating material and in one-step seamless process. No matter test in a normal rainy day or powerful water jets(12.5 mm nozzle), they all perform well.
Considering different customer needs, we produce different size packs, in 13L,18L,20L,22L,40L, satisfying daily use or professional use.
