This is a mini-backpack with a built-in storage bag.We had several surprises:1. What we thought was a carrying case was really a built-in "stuff sack" pocket to store the backpack. There is an illustration on the listing page which shows how to fold it into the pocket.2. The chest strap arrangement was new to us. It is similar to that used on a life jacket. None of our former backpacks used this, and we found it a great improvement when putting the backpack on. Our former backpacks required a second person to heft into place and secure, but these we can put on/off without assistance.3. The bright orange connector on the chest strap is also a whistle!————————PLUS POINTS:1. Wide shoulder straps distribute weight comfortably.2. All zipper pulls have corded extension grabbers.3. Bottle pockets are large enough to hold 20oz. hard plastic hydration drinks. There are straps above the pockets to secure oversized bottles.4. Light weight and packs down small for storage. Holds a decent amount of stuff, has a few zipper pockets and elastic pockets. The pouch that holds it compressed turns into a storage pouch on the inside. It feels well made. Has a nice orange whistle on the chest buckle. Good value for a nice pack.

I’ll admit at first, I thought this was just another backpack, but once I opened and started using the Waterfly Travel Elite Ultralight Foldable Backpack I realized it’s much more than that. It’s surprisingly strong, lightweight, and compact, yet still roomy enough for the things I need on short trips, hikes, or daily outings. The first time I tried to fold it up I thought “wow this looks tricky,” but it’s actually so easy, just flip it over and tuck it into its own pocket, literally as simple as saying it. It’s a really practical and efficient backpack, perfect for camping and activities where you don’t need to carry a lot but still want something reliable and comfortable. I’ve been very happy with it

I love my new daypack. Not only is it stylish, but it is the perfect size to store the items I tote when I take daytrips (glasses, tablet, charging cables, snacks, etc.). The stitching is sound and the backpack seems durable. It is easy to fold down and store in its attached zippered bag.The chest and shoulder straps can be adjusted as needed, and the chest strap snaps closed for a secure fit. I like that it comes with an emergency whistle. This daypack has it all, and I am looking forward to all the adventures I will have with it.

Very high quality, and unlike many others that have the attached bag they are supposed to fit back into- this one actually fits back into the little bag, making it very portable and convenient. The color is also very vibrant; The picture barely does it justice.My daughter plans to use this in college - something she can throw into her regular bag, and break out when she goes for a hike and doesn't want to carry all of her other crap with her.

This little zipper pouch unfolds to a decent size backpack! Fits easily into another bag, ready to pull out when needed. Multiple pockets and bungie cord. Surprisingly, it was even easy to fold back up into the zipper pouch!
