Q:One of the reviews mentioned a chest strap. I dont see any in the pictures. Is there a front chest strap on this?
A:There are shoulder strap and two side strap,doesn't have front chest strap.
Q:Is this backpack waterproof?
A:This hiking backpack is water resistant,rip stop-nylon construction sheds rain and prevent rain penetration effectively.
Q:What is the removable flap for the top outside pocket for?
A:They show the pocket holding iPhones so I presume you would want the zip cover. If you have a smaller time in that pocket it easily slips out the sides which are NOT covered by the flap. Or you could take the zip off and have an easy access pocket. Personally I don’t like it bc flap does not secure whole pocket. Plus I keep inadvertently unzipping it thinking I am unzipping the backpack and then I have to put it back on. It is sort of useless and they need to make the flap and zip part cover that whole pocket. It is the only real negative of the backpack IMO
